The Hon. Director of Public Works,

PRESENT.

Sir,

Hongkong,

31st May,

1929.

46

In further reference to our letter dated 17th inst., we have now the honour to advise you for your personal information, and which will serve as an illustration to you of the rapid progress being made in the sale of Colfix Cold Emulsion, that the London Company's output for the month of March had increased 120%, and the figures for the month indicated were 300,000 gallons.

We are further advised that the factories in America, Italy, France, Germany and other Continental places, as well as South Sea markets, are working at tremendous pressure, and we think the foregoing can serve as a reasonably good indication of the success attending efforts which are being made with this Cold Emulsion in world-wide markets.

We would very much appreciate a reply to our previous letter at your convenience, and we do sincerely hope that we may be privileged to receive even a further trial order from the Hongkong P.W.D. We feel thoroughly convinced that, provided the material is properly applied to the roads and all the instructions necessary in the application of Colfix rigidly adhered to, you would be very satisfied with our material as well.

We are, of course, entirely at your disposal for any particulars or information which you require, and awaiting the favour of your reply,

We have the honour to be,

NC/NF

sir,

Your obedient servants,

For,

COLFIX (FAR EAST) LTD..

Director.
